Self-love meditation is a powerful practice that gives a deeper connection with oneself, promoting inner peace and emotional resilience. By adding a self-love meditation into your routine, you can gain a more compassionate relationship with yourself, which helps your overall well-being and reduces stress.
Why Self-Love Meditation Matters:
Enhances Self-Compassion: It helps you develop a kinder, more understanding attitude towards yourself, reducing self-criticism and negative self-talk.
Boosts Emotional Resilience: Regular practice builds mental strength, allowing you to better manage stress and bounce back from challenges.
Promotes Inner Peace: It encourages a state of calm and tranquility, leading to a more balanced and harmonious life.
Improves Relationships: As you cultivate self-love, you naturally extend greater empathy and understanding to others, strengthening your interpersonal connections.
Tips for a Self-Love Meditation:
Find a Quiet Space: Choose a calm, comfortable environment where you can meditate without interruptions.
Set a Clear Intention: Begin with a positive affirmation or intention focused on self-love and acceptance.
Practice Mindfulness: Focus on your breath and bring your attention to the present moment, gently guiding your thoughts back if they wander.
Be Patient and Persistent: Consistency is key; practice regularly and be gentle with yourself, recognizing that growth takes time.

The Invitation of Pain Virtual Event
When we experience pain, we are instructed to medicalize our pain to make it go away. We learn to see our bodies as the enemy and forget the identity outside of the pain. But we can learn to experience and understand pain differently, even coming to see pain as the route back home to who we really are. In this way, the pain becomes the invitation back to our bodily selves - reminding us how to love ourselves more fully, teaching us that we can heal regardless of whether the pain goes away or not.
In this event, join Ruthie Lindsey and Hillary McBride in a conversation about pain and a new way of thinking about how we relate to it and ourselves. Ruthie and Hillary will share their stories of journeying through chronic pain and recovery, the lessons they learned along the way, current research findings about healing from pain, and engage attendees in practices to begin to experience ourselves and our pain differently. Love’s Invitation Monthly Event: Pleasure, Sexuality, and Your Nervous System Event.
I am so thrilled to share that on July 24th at 1230 central my somatic and nervous system coach Elena Dominguez is going to be our guest speaker for our monthly live online event for all paying members ($6/Month).
She is going to teach a class on Pleasure, Sexuality, and Nervous System Healing. This will include some teaching on the ventral vagal system and hormones and their connection to our pleasure and health in our nervous system and a practice to embody and activate the ventral vagus nerve and our own pleasure. She has been such a gift to me and I can’t wait for you to learn from her.
